Karen Kelley King

Karen Kelley King was born on Sept. 10, 1947 and was raised in Morgantown W.Va.  She finished her undergraduate work at West Virginia University, where she received a bachelor’s degree in English in 1987. She then attended WVU College of Law for two years and began working on a teaching certificate at Fairmont State University. 

As an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer, Karen has served as the resource and communications associate at Scott's Run Settlement House in Osage, W.Va. since Nov. 2003. At Camp Dawson, she was a volunteer with the United Way and the West Virginia National Commission on Community Service, where she was the activities coordinator.
